ROADWORKS AFFECTING THE 978 SCHOOL BUS

There are currently roadworks on the A6 at Swinton which are impacting on the Kearsley/Farnworth area due to traffic avoiding the roadworks.  The 978 School Bus is being affected by this and whilst the Bus Operator is doing everything they can to mitigate the situation - the bus is currently running late to school.

Please be aware of this and try to find an alternative route to school if you are able.  The roadworks are due to last for 10 weeks.- we have contacted the appropriate council department to raise our concerns at the impact and if the situation changes we will keep you informed.
