KS3 Homework Model
(30 x 10)
From September 2025, KS3 will use a specific model for homework and revision in the 6 week build up to assessments.
30 minutes x 10 times a week
- 30 minutes of core each week.
- Sparx (Maths)
- Century (English)
- KayScience (Science)
- 30 minutes of revision, 7 times a week, each week.
Core Homework Deadlines
- Kay Science (Science) is due every Monday
- Century (English) is due every Tuesday
- Sparx Maths (Maths) is due every Wednesday
How to Login to The Platforms
Century Learning
- Select "Sign in With Office 365"
- Login using your new school login details for September 2025
- Find the "Due Assignments" section on the bottom right of the home screen
- Select the assignment set and complete the nuggets..
KayScience
- Select "Log In" in the top right corner
- Select the Microsoft icon
- Login using your new school login details for September 2025
- You will find your weekly assignment in the "Upcoming Tasks"
- Select the task set and press "Start Task"
Sparx Maths
- Select "Log In" in the top right corner
- Type in the school postcode (BL4 9RU) or name
- Select "Log in to Sparx Using Microsoft"
- Login using your new school login details for September 2025
- You will find your weekly homework on the home screen
- Select the task set and press "Start Task"
