Financial Support for Parents

During this very difficult recession it is important that parents/carers seek support that they are entitled to, especially if it aids their child’s education.

Currently the Government are allocating a considerable amount of funding (PPG- Pupil Premium Grant) to support young people whose family may be on income support, housing benefit or are experiencing difficult financial times. However, if you are in this situation you must apply for Free School Meals to be eligible. This money comes directly in to our school and it will REALLY HELP your child and can be used for all kinds of interventions and support (see the Pupil Premium section on our website). To find out more or enquire whether your child is eligible for FREE SCHOOL MEALS, please contact the Bolton Housing Benefits section on TEL: 01204 331590.

If your child is accepted for FSM, then you do not need to do any more. Your child’s cashless catering account will be credited with £2.37 each day and we will take care of the rest. If you have any queries, please contact Miss Newbury.
